Bahay Ni Tuding Review
We recently had our Davao City Trip and Bahay Ni Tuding was recommended to me as a nice place to stay at. I was told that it was close to most of the hot spots so I told Ate to book our stay here.
Our booking at Bahay Ni Tuding was for two days and two nights.
Bahay Ni Tuding is located at the heart of Davao City proper. It's just a walk away from the City Hall and pretty accessible to all of the tourist spots in the city. It's main landmark is Mercury Drugs upfront.
The inn is located at the back area and they have ample parking space for their guests.
Upon entering the inn, a desk attendant would assist you right away. They have their restaurant just beside the front desk and the function rooms just down the hall. They also have cozy verandas accessible for everyone.
All the rooms are located upstairs and the hallway is graced with interesting antique pieces.
We booked the family room that's good for four. The room have one big bed and two daybeds, two airconditioners to completely cool the room too. They also have this cool clothes rack by the door. Also a vanity corner with of course the most important thing ~ a hair dryer!
The room also had a small kitchen area, complete with a sink - with potable water, a fridge, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and four sets of utensils, cups, plates, bowls and glass. The fridge is not pre-filled with anything but room service is available if you want to order anything from their restaurant. The menu and other services offered are neatly placed at the vanity table just in case.
The bathroom is very spacious. It has a cold and hot shower but it doesn't have a bidet. Complimentary toiletries are provided as well. There are towel hooks inside too. The bath towels are neatly folded on each of the beds.
Each guests can take advantage of the unlimited continental breakfast offered every morning at the restaurant that comes free to all room rates. They have a wide variety of jams served with bread, my personal favorite was the Guyabano Jam. They also serve seasoned fruit juices and a yummy glass of yogurt!
Alternatively, you can always order rice meals if you want a heavier one.
Here's a quick look of their menu:
Overall, I was satisfied with our stay at Bahay Ni Tuding. Room service is quick for small requests. They also recommended the van driver that we hired for our last two days.
And if its one of your requirements, they have cable and WiFi too.
