National Food Fair 2016
Got to attend this year's Food Fair. Really though, I get to know and attend these conventions because of my sisters.
Anyway, the event was free admission and you just need to sign up at the front desk to get a map of the floor plan.
The moment we stepped inside, we immediately smell food! The stalls have their own gimmick to stand out; colorful displays, witty names, catchy phrases, mascots and free tastes! Among those who caught our eye was this yogurt product. So cute!
There were amazing foods as well, and a giant chocolate egg!
This right here has a lovely presentation so we checked it out. Apparently, they are selling cakes in a jar! Like a mugcakes for take-out. It was a very clever idea and a nice item for a gift. I remember big sis creating something like this before too.
The event occupied the three Mega trade halls and there were lots of huge exhibits and a stage for the program. We even saw Chef Boy Logro for a cooking demo.
We bagged a few items home, from a bottle of concentrated calamansi juice, a pack of Hungarian Bangus Sausage to different flavored sardines.
It was a fun day! We got to learn few things and tasted new food and wine flavors.
I do hope to get to attend at these type of conventions more. :D
