Cheers to 1000 Chapters | One Piece to Forever!

Should I still introduce One Piece? lol. In case you still don't know, One Piece is an on-going Japanese manga/series about the adventures of a highly-enthusiastic boy with his friends and the fulfillment of his dream of becoming the Pirate King.
By January 3rd of 2021, One Piece has reached the 1000th chapter and of course I have to blog about it!
Eiichiro Oda, the author and who just turned 46 on January 1st; gave a very humble yet enthusiastic message to his readers - and @sandman_AP made a translation for everyone:

In celebration of this, they made a short movie to showcase how the series had touched so many lives, regardless of age, gender and lifestyle. I admit, I cried watching this clip. It gave me the good kind of chills! Watch it here:
On top of that, they also made a dedicated website to commemorate and relive every volume from chapter 1. Its really well made and interactive - highly recommended to viewed in your desktop browsers. Apart from the latest the chapter, a special chapter inspired by the "Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma" was presented. Story by Yuto Tsukada and art by Shun Saeki. It as entitled "Sanji, Banquet Assistant".
This is an extra series that features Sanji as a young chef - Shokugeki no Sanji. It's just a cute story and we got to see the first five of the crew young and all.
As of today, January 5, 2021 - the anime is keeping up with the numbers with the latest episode at 957 to be released on January 10th and the next chapter will be released on January 18th.
