Two episodes before Act Three | Reverie Update and Rocks Pirate Backstory

Two episodes before Act Three | Reverie Update and Rocks Pirate Backstory

This weekend, I had a chance to watch the last two latest episodes - EP 957 and EP 958.

As the previous episode ended Act Two - we had a bit of a recap of the happenings on the rest of the One Piece world.

The episode was entitled "Big News! An Incident That Will Affect the Seven Warlords" - and of course we had an appearance from Big News Morgans!

We all had a recap of what has transpired from the Reverie - and this was the disbandment of the Shichibukai.

Shichibukai, or literally translated as Seven Warlords of the Sea - were a group of powerful pirates that the World Government has given special amnesty in exchange for lending their powers to them when needed.

It was all chills when they recapped all the former Shichibukai, starting from Crocodile to Doflamingo - both whom have made two kingdoms perish for the longest times of their lives.

The Reverie gave these two kingdoms: Alabasta Kingdom and Dressrosa, a chance to speak out their horrible experiences with a Shichibukai reigning over their land and stripping them off of their peace.

With the request of the two Kings, the protection of the Shichibukai were declared obsolete and the Marines has been handed out direct orders to capture whom whose left of them - Dracule Mihawk, Boa Hancock, Buggy the Clown and Weevil.

Apart from this, I still get creeped out as to what happened to Sabo. As we have known, Him and the rest of his unit raided Marejois, the same day that the Reverie was being held in the hopes of rescuing Bartholomew from being a slave.

The latter episode was still juicy as Sengoku gave everybody a trip down memory lane - about the Rocks Pirates!

It was a part of pirating history that only few people knew due to that fact that a certain marine and a notable pirate has worked together in order to defeat the Rocks Pirates.

I am always fond of the stories of the young great men of the series and this episode was much nicer in animation

I really hope that when Luffy's adventure comes to end, Oda gets a chance to tell the story of young Garp, young Roger and young Dragon.

What do you guys think about this 2 filler episodes before the 3rd act?

Do you have predictions on what really happened to Sabo? Or what will happen to the rest of the Shichibukai?

Super looking forward on getting back at Wano!
